Business Profile

Our staff here at Metfield Grange organise daily activities, around our day centre guests hobbies and interests. There is a wide range of stimulating activities and various forms of entertainment.
On site is a games room, which includes a pool table and darts board. There is also salon, where our day centre guests can enjoy getting pampered. We have a hairdresser and chiropodist who regularly visit the day centre.
We also like our day centre users to maintain active links to the local community, so we organise a variety of events.
Metfield Grange offers the chance for our day centre users to relax, socialise and have fun. This has a positive effect on our day centre guests as it boosts confidence and can improve their independence.
This will make everyday tasks and life back at home that little bit easier, which in return enables the day centre users to stay living in their own homes for longer.
We are open from 9-4 Monday to Friday, with the choice of full and half day sessions available.
Included in the sessions is a three course lunch with drinks and snacks available throughout the day.
Transport can be provided, where our staff will make sure they collect the day centre user from their home ensuring their property is safely locked and the same on their return.
We have a bathroom with specialist equipment, so an experienced member of staff can assist in the bathing duties. We also have a laundry room, so members are welcome to bring washing, which will be laundered and dried to take home with them later that day.
