"“Really nice after refurb”"

"Popped in yesterday for a quick pint and was delighted to discover this pub has experienced a complete refurb

The old and tired interior has been transformed to a delightful and modern place to have a meal or a refreshing drink. Gone is the dreary facade and has been replaced by bright wall papers and various colourful pictures of Blackpool

Food menu also has been modernised together with the way in which your food is presented.

Final point is that although money has been spent on re modernisation the prices of the drinks and food have remained unchanged."

"“Thanks again”"

"Just returned from a solo business trip to Blackpool ! went to the Washington again for food and a few drinks . Thanks again to all the staff who are all very helpful and extremely friendly . The food in the Washington is very good value and well presented (don't know how my scampi and chips got to me so quickly)and the beer is well priced with a good selection."

"“Lovely food”"

"Just had a break in Blackpool and we ate twice at the Washington . When you go in you get a warm and friendly welcome. We went to watch the football and have a meal. 1st night we both had fish and chips and you could tell the fish was fresh. 2nd visit I had a southern fried burger and my partner had a Donna burger. They have a full menu with starters ,grills , steaks , big plate meals and burgers and sandwiches . There's something for everyone . Bar staff nice and friendly. Next time we in Blackpool we will definitely have a meal at the Washington ."

"“Best place to eat in Blackpool”"

"One of the best places to eat in Blackpool. Staff are great and the menu caters for all with a vegetarian section and a gluten free menu too. Great value and worth a visit when in Town. Highly recommended."

"“Excellent Find”"

"We came across this pub after receiving 2 £5 off food vouchers and visited for the first time when we arrived in Blackpool on the Thursday. We got here at about 1.30pm and to be honest were not looking forward to going in as the window in the front door had a massive crack in it as though it had been kicked in. Anyway we looked beyond that and went in where we were met by a really cosy clean pub. It must be a popular place as there were quite a lot of people inside. We got served for our drinks straight away and when we ordered our food we didn't have to wait long for it to come out. We got a hot baguette each which was honestly one of the nicest pub meals we have had. This place is very cheap but you wouldn't think so with the quality of the food. We liked it that much we went back the following afternoon. The staff were excellent especially the manager and our waitress Sally. We will definitely be back when visiting Blackpool again!"
