I hired Dave and Andrew to repair my roof and create a driveway for my home. Unfortunately, my experience with them was extremely disappointing. First, instead of using proper roofing materials as we agreed we talked about originally, they lied to me and chose cheap paint to seal my roof, which is unacceptable and even the roof continues to leak, which means it is no different than before and now, it can also lead to additional problems. They also tricked me into knocking down the front garden wall to make an entrance for my car. Not only did they leave the debris and bricks strewn around, but the driveway was left dilapidated and too high, putting my car at risk of damage if I had to drive through it. As a single woman I felt particularly targeted by their dishonest practices and it is clear to me that Dave and Andrew are nothing but scammers and liars. I would strongly advise against hiring them for roofing or construction work.
AVOID AT ALL COST
The most dishonest tradesman I have ever employed. We were quoted for a brand new fibreglass roof, which involved stripping off all the existing materials and replacing with new boards and fibreglass top. What we got was some Cromapol roof coating painted onto the existing felt. Needless to say the rain was still pouring in after completion. Please be warned do not employ this cowboy or hand over any of your hard earned money. You will be sorely disappointed and will need to pay again to rectify what has been done or not in our case. Did not want to even give one star but unfortunately you have to to proceed with the review.
