Unprofessional, unskilled workers.

The owner of this company actually has no professional skills or knowledge. The workers, pleasant though they are, are unskilled labourers. For your own safety have any work by them checked. Moreover THe OWNER OF THIS COMPANY IS NOT ACTING LEGALLY. You will have no redress if anything goes wrong. Companies Act 2006 The name of a limited company that is a private company must end with "limited" or "ltd." "The registered company name must be displayed on business websites, emails, letters, promotional material, and all other forms of company stationery. This is to ensure that the public is aware that your business is a limited company." Valley Rise Landscapes is listed on Companies House as a limited company. This fact is not displayed here, on any other link site or anywhere in their website. None of their work reaches even a minimum standard expected of a knowledgeable professional company.

A truly awful experience

Being in our 70s, and my wife being disabled, we wanted to alter our garden to make it safer and more accessible, with less upkeep. The work which was carried out by Mr Geraghty was of an extremely poor standard, some now needing to be completely removed and replaced at great cost to us. Naively we paid upfront for materials which never materialised. Mr Geraghty and his workers gradually began to disappear off site for longer and longer periods, not being honest with us about what was happening, until, following help from Citizen's Advice we were forced to end the contract. Throughout, he refused to listen to our concern, refused arbitration and refused to respond to the County Court who issued a CCJ against him. I would strongly urge anyone in the Lancashire area considering employing this company to think twice.
